Ensorcia utilises the IBAT® DLE technology for Direct Lithium Extraction, that uses no chemicals, and allows reinjection of 98% of brines, saving tons of millons of cubic meters of water yearly compared to alternative technologies, and preserving local water for local communities in dry areas. Additionnaly our systems are designed to optimize the use of fresh water thanks to recycling.

Most lithium resources are located in remote areas, such as mountains, which lack access to energy. Our plant is powered by LNG, with the ability to transition to a solar facility in a subsequent phase, reducing the demand for limited energy resources in local communities. Whenever possible, we promote access to green energy sources (solar, wind, or nuclear) to minimize the use of carbon-based energy. The Hydroxide plant will be constructed in France to achieve this goal, reducing its carbon footprint by 10 times compared to coal-powered plants.
